My final thoughts on the whole Will Smith and Alec Baldwin Adventure.
I’m happy people found it entertaining, and I will be making more. I have a few ideas related to how it might work – for example, I like the way the photos look, but since I didn’t take them – I can’t use them for anything else (see last post for an example). So I may do some kind of vector trace/re-modeling of the characters before I start on chapter two. That will mean I am not restricted by what size the photos are either, so I can have some much bigger if I need to.
Maybe I’ll even start drawing backgrounds in? I’m torn over these choices, more than I probably should be. Will it lose it’s charm with backgrounds/colour etc? Will I get frustrated because backgrounds can take AGES to draw?
Anyway, leave a message to say what you think of the chapter, or what you want in the 2nd one, or what you think about these questions.
But, you know. The LAW. I don’t own the copyright for this photo. Using it in the comics, in it’s edited form, probably constitutes ‘fair use’. But if I made money of selling it on a badge, which I would love to do for around $3 each, I would be breaking international copyright law. So yeah, here is just a little blog post which allows us both; me, the creator, and you, my awesome fans; to dream.
Hey everyone and welcome to the new dairy/journal/blogzor.
If you read the latest installment of my ongoing snuff adventure “What is this even about” (starts here) and you didn’t understand why Samuel L. Jackson isn’t a fan of genetically engineered sharks, this clip from Deep Blue Sea might help out:
